Frequently asked questions
What does Emergency Pet Transport Singapore do?
Fiona collects your pet from its location and drives you both to the veterinary clinic or destination you choose, anywhere in Singapore including Sentosa.
Is this a pet ambulance with veterinary care?
No. People sometimes call it a pet ambulance, but it is transportation only. No veterinary or paramedic services are provided, and Fiona does not assess, monitor, treat or stabilise pets.
Who can travel in the car?
Each fare covers one pet and one accompanying owner. You sit in the car with your pet throughout the journey.
Can I bring another pet or passenger?
Please call Fiona to discuss additional pets or passengers before travelling. Extra capacity is not guaranteed.
Is oxygen included?
Yes. An oxygen supply is carried in the car and included in both fares, for your pet if needed. Fiona does not administer oxygen or give clinical advice.
How much does it cost?
S$250 per one-way trip when the driver arrives at pickup from 8:00am to before 10:00pm, and S$350 total when the driver arrives from 10:00pm to before 8:00am.
What decides whether I pay the daytime or overnight fare?
The driver’s arrival time at your pickup location, not when you book or when you arrive. Arrival at exactly 10:00pm is S$350; at exactly 8:00am it is S$250. Crossing a time boundary during the journey does not change the fare.
How can I pay?
Cash or PayNow only.
Do you operate 24 hours?
Yes, 24/7, subject to availability. This is an independent, single-vehicle service, so Fiona may already be transporting another pet. Please call to confirm availability and estimated collection time.
Which areas do you cover?
Islandwide across Singapore, including Sentosa.
Where can you take my pet?
To the veterinary clinic or destination you choose. Please decide on the destination, and contact the clinic if needed, before or when you call.
Should I call or WhatsApp?
For urgent transport, please call. A WhatsApp message does not confirm a booking.
When is my booking confirmed?
Your booking is confirmed once you have spoken to Fiona and agreed on the pickup, destination, fare and estimated collection time.
How big a pet can Fiona take?
Fiona can take dogs up to 40kg. If your dog is heavier than 40kg, please call her before booking so she can check the car can take them.
How is this different from booking a pet ride on a ride-hailing app?
Ride-hailing pet rides are general trips, and drivers can decline a pet that is unwell, bleeding or soiled. Emergency Pet Transport Singapore is a dedicated service for urgent trips to the vet: Fiona carries an oxygen supply for your pet if needed, you ride beside your pet, and the fare is fixed at S$250 daytime or S$350 overnight.
Can I call 995 for my pet in Singapore?
No. 995 is for people, and Singapore has no public emergency ambulance for animals. For a ride to a 24-hour vet, you can call Fiona on +65 9839 1308, 24/7, subject to availability.
